Good Earth Drilling Services Ltd. can complete RC drilling with four of our rigs, 130, 151, 152 and 154. We have the ability to drill angle or vertical wells to depths up to 600 meters. Our tracked rig 130, comes complete with a track mounted compressor and tracked pipe handling unit. Our truck mounted rigs carry an onboard compressor and comes complete with a truck mounted hydraulic pipe handler. These compact, versatile footprints adapt well to smaller locations.
Rigs 130, 151, 152, and 154 are all capable of coring. Good Earth Drilling Services Ltd. has the capability to drill 3”and 6” wireline retrievable core samples. We also offer a 8 5/8” conventional core system that can be used with the same rigs. Pumping equipment consists of Gardner Denver 5×6 duplex pumps, Gardner Denver THE triplex pump, or air compressors to ensure proper hole cleaning and recover the most “core” possible. We achieve very high recovery rates in both Oilsands and Coal coring industries.
Rigs 130, 151, 152, 153, and 154 are all capable of completing monitoring wells. Our vast experience setting up monitoring wells includes piezometer installation and testing. Wells are set up with a sand pack slotted casing and cemented using our grout plants. We have completed numerous monitoring wells throughout Alberta and British Columbia in both the oilsands and coal mines. We have SPT, split spoon tooling as well as augers of various sizes for sampling. Augers consist of both solid stem as well as hollow stem.
All of Good Earth Drilling Services Ltd. rigs are capable of drilling geothermal wells. We have vast experience having installed thousands of meters of geothermal wells. Our company, as well as our principles, all are CGC certified drillers and installers.
Good Earth Drilling Services Ltd. and its related company Good Earth Drilling International SAC (Peru) are expert water well drillers. Our company is licensed and permitted to drill water wells in western Canada and in Peru. GED has journeyman water well drillers that have many years of experience. We have successfully completed many wells that are being utilized for agricultural irrigation throughout Peru. The wells we have drilled and installed have production rates of over 100 litres per second.
Our equipment is set up to drill and complete pre-set surface casing. Rig 153 has been specifically designed with a 2” flexible cementing line on a hydraulic reel that allows for a bottom-up abandonment and/or top-down displacement of casing. Our Reimer cementing units allow for precise cement mixing on site.
